This part is composed of two rounds – and they’re the same. You can get from one round to the next with a split chain.
For the first round, joins are made into the middle picot of the 3-picot chains of the previous round. CH: 8-8+ around.
Second
round is the same: CH: 8-8+ (into p of round below).
You can see from the photo that it's a little ruffled, but this should be corrected by the end... and the end IS in sight, I promise!
